Hello,
I got a PCN from a privet parking company. I appealed through their website. When I filled in the online form I put in my wife's email address as I would be traveling and she handles my bookwork and the running our company. The parking company responded saying that they could not proceed with the appeal and if I wanted someone else to act on my behalf they would have to provide a signed letter from me giving them permission to do so. We did not respond because I was working on the road and had no chance to write a letter, print it, sign it, scan it and send it, now we are receiving letters from debt collectors demanding payment and threatening to take me to court. I did appeal myself but just left my wife's email address. Can they do this?
