  • Norfolk Parking Enforcement - won

I own a flat in Norwich with private parking enforced by NPE. The flat is owned by 3 people and we have 1 pass so we have a photocopy each to use it as and when required. My friend was given a parking ticket because it was a photocopy - it was in the parking space which we own and displaying what I thought was a valid pass. I wasn't aware that I couldn't use a photocopy of the pass and in fact have been doing this since I purchased the flat some 8 years ago.The managing agents knew there were 3 owners.
i appealed, the managing agents told me it had been cancelled and suddenly I get an email telling me I have to pay up. I own the property but had given my pass to a friend to park there while I was away on holiday.
Please could you offer any help?

Well 1. get back to the managing agents as they said it was cancelled. 2. check your deeds to see if you own the space. 3. Do not let the period for the further appeal expire without letting me sort one for you. (Popla still ?)

Try and avoid naming the driver if you haven't already done so. Do not actually appeal, only register the intent to appeal. Once the operator responds to the intent to appeal we cann appeal.

Do I just send them an email saying I intend to appeal? Or do I have to say on what grounds I am appealing?

Get it in writing and register an intent to appeal anyway If it's truly cancelled you find the appeal fades away.
