Hi,
hoping someone can provide some advice.
We have just received a PCN from Civil Enforcement Limited (please see attached PDF).
It is regarding parking in a pub car park that states it is for patrons use only which was fine as we actually went into the pub,
Unfortunately what we did not realise and didn't seem to be obvious at all once in the pub is that you are supposed to digitally register your cars number plate. The pub has a restaurant section that from reading up on it has tablets available to register your car but these were not available or mentioned at all in the small bar section we sat in.
I see from some of the other posts on this forum that the dates on this may also be relevant as it was more than 14 days between the alleged parking incident and the notice being issued.
We have contacted the bar and the girl I spoke to told us to come into the bar and they would try and help to sort out the issue but I am unsure if we should also pursue a written appeal and contest this charge.
