  • MET Parking Services - apology for inconvenience caused and invoice cancelled

Massive thanks to you guys on Legal Beagles.
Having read through the threads posted I decided to give it a go and appeal rather than just pay up.
Sent them an appeal letter based on what M1 advised, not to heavy and entry level stuff. What I did intimate in the letter was that I was going to put the argument forward that the signage was sufficiently illuminated and eye level. I was going to keep the Christmas period bank holidays not being taken into consideration within the payment periods offered up my sleeve for the POPLA appeal. Whether that would have had any standing I don't know but it would have been an angle.
Anyhow, going forward, I got my letter today from MET Parking Services apologising for any inconvenience caused and that they were withdrawing their PCN invoice.
