so received this a few days ago. it would appear they are challenging DEAL to get schwarts to sign a statement. Has anyone else received this and who knows if he actually exists?

There has been variations of that but they usually don't reply to the more onerous court orders. This one is quite lax though as he does exist so it's easy to comply with. I don't think he signed any forms though !

            Time will tell.

Well I've just rung the court and it would appear the statement has been received! Looks like I'm definitely going to court then

                Maybe, maybe not.

Pre Beavis i'd bet on not but they may fancy taking a punt now. The assignment and actual ownership is still a significant issue for them.

Re: At mediation stage with DEAL

Received a letter from DEAL saying they have discontinued the claim against me and enclosed a copy of the form N279 which has also been sent to the court.
Good news but I assume I still need to attend court to make sure this has been filed?

Phone the court. If it's discontinued as far as they are concerned then write a letter for costs. If not turn up.

The court has confirmed the claim has now been struck out and my attendance is no longer needed, I am one very happy person and M1 I thank you for your help over these last months. I couldn't have stuck with it without you.

I have now submitted costs of 18 hours at £18 an hour plus a days annual leave for the court trial not returnable due to the lateness of them pulling out. Costs total £460, I'll let you know if they accept

It went up last month. £19 per hour

If you have an email from work to verify the holiday issue then i'd include that in the letter :okay:
