• Court claim for a parking ticket set aside req.

Hi there,

I have also been stung by CEL 6 years ago....I have actually been slapped with a CCJ already which I have only found about this week when checking my credit file to apply for credit. I am absolutely gobsmacked and distraught as this will now affect my whole life and future.
How do I go about getting it set aside or sorted out when the CCJ was placed on my credit account on 27th April 2015? I did all as above and have ignored from the start.

Thank you lets hope R0b can help as my case is slightly different in that I haven't moved or changed address at all.

But I want to get it set aside as soon as possible even though it was placed on my credit file in April 2015 and I never knew till now!

An application to set aside is not a get out of jail card and cannot be used simply because you have a CCJ, you have to have good reasons why it should be set aside.

You've said that you haven't moved, so did you receive any claim form or court documents through the post?
