  • Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (hearing): Questions

    Hi everyone,

    I'm fighting a parking ticket in court and have recently been sent a notice of allocation to the small claims track (hearing). There are a few directions on the letter that I don't know how to answer. It says I need to send the court the following information:

    1. A carefully considered agreed estimate of the length of hearing of the trial including time for judgement. I've never been to court before so I've no idea how long it will take. What would you recommend?

    2. An agreed trial timetable. I'm not sure what this means. I haven't been in direct contact with the claimant so haven't agreed on any timetable.

    3. A case summary. Shall I just send them my defence or is this something different?

    Thanks for any help you can give me in answering those questions.
