VCS seem to have lost a few cases where the party suing should have been Excel"

Would it be possible for you to direct the forum as to these cases?* Transcripts would be fantastic, but any information would still be great. I most confess I have a personal interest in this.

I completely concur with Milgram's post in entry number five arguing a contract with VCS and not Excel.

"The main terms and condition board states that "By entering and remaining in this private car park,you,the driver are entering into a contract with Vehicle Control Services Ltd". At the bottom of the board *" you agree to pay Vehicle Control Services"

I was plagued by Excel for almost six years within this exact same car park ultimately resulting in a court claim via Elms Legal. I'm glad to report that upon submitting a response to Elms using the same argument as Milgram the claim was dropped within hours.
