Could you help me with the wording of my defence?
Do you think I stand a chance?
I think I would be a wobbly mess if it goes to court

I'm sure we can cobble something up.
What is the issue date on the court claim form?
Could you post up a pic of (or write verbatim) the Particulars of Claim?

The court claim issue date is 17th June.
Once acknowledged, you have 33 days from the issue date in which to file a defence.
(28 days + 5 allowed for service of the claim form.)
It's better to leave it until closer to that deadline.
I make that Saturday 20th July, & if so the next working day would be ok.
Do you concur with the date?

You have plenty of time in which to file your defence, so let's get some more evidence.
A CPR 31.14 request for disclosure is the way forward.
Ask for all documentation which they will use in court, including (but not limited to)
                            • *A copy of the NtK
                            • A copy of the landowner/parking company contract enabling them to operate on the relevant site, plus any other relevant intermediate contracts.
                            • a copy of the parking company/DVLA KADOE contract
                            • A copy of the relevant P&D machine payments data.
Keep a copy & get proof of sending. (It goes to the sols.)

*I realise you have your own copy, but you don't necessarily know what they have on record.

                            https://legalbeagles.info/library/gu...-of-documents/
This example is for a Consumer Credit case.....so change the green bits to the above & scrub the bits in red (& any other refs to the CCA.)

Hi, I have now drafted my letter to the sols.
                              A couple of questions.

"... I require inspection if documents you mention in your statement if case ahead of filing my defence on xx/xx/xxxx"
What date do I put here?

Also do I disregard the last paragraph in red?

                              Many thanks

You could just leave it at that.

If you are referring to the paragraph (in red) which mentions a credit agreement, bin it....not applicable for a PCN claim.
