    Hi all

I received a car parking fine from the above company last year, read online it’s best to ignore so I did just that (2 others in my business also received fines on the same day).

I then received a letter from Northampton county court business centre and I acted straight away as it mentioned CCJS. I’ve worked hard to build my credit up and this year it was finally good, rather than poor. I agreed to pay £20 a month to UKCPS, obviously I didn’t read the small print on the letter which stated I would still get a CCJ. I even rang UKCPS to tell them I could pay in instalments. If id of course knew the outcome of this I would have asked family to lend the money! Totally my bad. When all of this was happening I was a new mum with a difficult baby. This took every inch of my mind so the parking fine was just nothing to me.

About to apply for a new mortgage to buy a bigger home and this has ruined everything.

Ive read I could contact UKCPS to ask them to agree to a consent, if I pay in full immediately, does that seem like a good thing to do?

The other 2 people who received fines have both ignored like I did and have had no info for months, no courts involved, how is that fair?!

you can in certain circumstances agree to set aside judgment by consent, but it does depend on what the otherside say about that. have you paid the pcn in full?
