Hi, I recently obtained a ticket from Parking eye as a result of the hotel staff giving me incorrect information. The hotel apologised and issued the email below, but parking eye continued with their claim. Then I appealed to POPLA who ignored the landowner letter and disallowed my appeal. I am now awaiting court action from Parking Eye.
Do you think they will be laughed out of court if I produce the following?

Dear Mr Owen
In this instance Holiday Inn Coventry has requested directly with Parking Eye that they waive all charges and that they confirm to you directly that the penalty notice has been removed.
Please let me assure you that the introduction of Parking Eye was not in an effort to generate revenue from guests and visitors who were using our car parking facility to visit or stay at the hotel and was a preferred solution to charging for our car park like so many of our competitors. We have also ensured that there is sufficient signage to make sure our guests and visitors are aware that they must register their vehicle. However please accept my apologies that you have received a fine notification.
Please be aware that having completed an appeal request you may still receive a second fine notifications through the post. Parking Eye assure us that this is a system generated correspondence and the appeal process will not prevent these notifications being sent.
Once again please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused.

any advice welcome as I am a little nervous over this.
