  • Civil Enforcement letter

My husband is a taxi driver and he has just received the above through. This was as a result of him waiting on a fare for around 20 minutes at a travel inn. It was about 530am and the customers where having problems getting into their room to get money apparently!

He was there waiting but not parked as such as he had the engine running and was waiting for payment.

He has now received through an enforcement action letter stating that he should pay £60 for parking which was not in line with the parking restrictions but he wasnt "parked".

    Can this not be disputed?

    Thanks

      Hi
While we await M you should note there is no difference between Parking and Waiting.
To prevent delay in assisting , could you please post up a copy of the notice (suitably sanitised - remove identifying names & numbers) for M.

The manager should be amenable to helping you as they won't want people leaving early and not getting picked up !
