Hi,
I have recently been issued with a number of of parking charges from UKPC, which I believe were unlawfully issued.
I have already appealed three that were issued last year but not yet heard back, so will advise when/if I do.
I have recently been issued another PCN stating that it 'supercedes another charge issued' (I have no record of the original ticket), and uses photos from the wrong date (it is stating I parked there on 10/03, and the photos say 08/02). I know for a fact I didn't park there as I stopped after a series of tickets were issued!
I have also received another 2 x parking charge for 01/01 and 27/01, both of which I do not believe I am parked in a permitted area. The area in question used to be a service yard at the back of the shops (behind my flats) and was indeed patrolled when businesses etc operated there. However the majority of the service yard no longer exists as they are doing regeneration works, and all that remained was one sign from 'UKPC', which can hardly been seen, does not make it clear what 'area' you are allowed to park in, and this is what they are basing their case on. I took pictures of where my car was parked which are date stamped on my phone to show that I believe I was NOT parked in the area that they cover, as said area does not really exist anymore!
I am happy to email copies of the letters, pictures of my car to show illustrate what I mean and hopefully appeal based on the grounds of poor signage, not parked in a permitted area or that there are no loss of earnings to the land owner.
Please help!!
Thanks in advance
