  • christmas day pcn

    :tongue2:
took the dog out for a walk and parked what used to be a council run car park which was free on sunday and public holidays. After 3 weeks got a pcn from cel wanting £100 £60 if paid within 14 day. 'yes' didn't see their signs. appeal with all the usually stuff from the forum but rejected.
now got a popla number, but not too sure about their new appeal ,when asked about the motorist detail do i put the register kkeeper detail or not? beginning to think just easier to hand over the£60 .just not confident enough

Get them to do it then

        Email is probably easiest.

        admin@legalbeagles.info or kati@legalbeagles.info

They are over the 14 days ? If so it's a certain win.

So the main appeal to POPLA will be the fact that the notice to keeper was not received within 14 days. Include lack of signage and lack of authority and request the contract that gives them the right to claim payment. You will appeal as the KEEPER.

parking prankster takes you step by step through the new popla appeal process, then it comes to the bit where it asks you about the motorist details, do they mean keepers detail or are they asking for the drivers detail ? bit sneaky.

Just a tad but they never counted on me putting " I, as registered keeper, wish to appeal as follows." at the start of all appeals so that motorist should be taken as the registered keeper and not the driver as i believe both terms are covered under "motorist". (i assume everyone else does this too, at least i hope so).

They'll need to get up earlier to pull that dodgy shit on me

Thank you all for your advise so far . Shame the Scottish court didn't give them a good spanking for fraud earlier this year.
