PCN reminder notice- no PCN given at time

Hello, I have received the letter below.

This is the first I've heard of this. I was not issued a notice at the time ( I know this because I checked,because my friend had one attached to their windscreen at the same time) I was confused at the time as to why they had a ticket and i didn't


Now, do I respond? If so, how?

I asked my friend what he was looking at when he got to his car. He had a notice, but I did not. I checked the windscreen in the car park

I can't prove it.

But then they have offered no proof that I didn't have a ticket.

This is the only correspondence I have had from them and it has no photos on it.

The name is wrong (my maiden name) and I need to take photos of the the actual car park sign. Because I have a suspicion that the sign is old and is from the 'old' gemini

Your friend would confirm the no ticket ? (i hope they didn't pay btw )

Using your maiden name indicates that you haven't changed your details with DVLA.




Dear Sirs,


I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals process. The driver did not see any signs. I note your notice to keeper is fundamentally flawed when compared to PoFA 2012 schedule 4 para 8/9 in several aspects .

Yes but it's too late to be an anpr one so it must be one that follows the notice to driver except your word and that of your friends should convince a court, if required, that they failed to put one on the windscreen.
