Hi all... Looking for a bit of advice please...
Both me and my friend were parked in a McDonald's for a total of 127 minutes. The free period was 90minutes and we have now both been hit with a £50 pound fine for the time we went over. I understand that it was a while over, we did not realise we had a time limit (oblivious to the signs in the dark and who puts a limit on McDonald's!) but what really is annoying is the fact that we had 2 passengers each, all of us were purchasing in McDonald's (some going back up later for mcflurrys) and I believe 50 pound for taking up two spaces at 10pm when it is completely quiet is a ridiculous amount! Is it worth us paying up or appealing? It goes up to £100 pound after 14 days.
