Hi everybody,
i have are just discovered this website whilst looking for assistance with a 'Parking charge'from Civil enforcement limited,
Here goes,
I was parked in the Holiday inn car park in Norwich, I was residing there for the evening and I failed to register my vehicle with the machine located in reception and was not notified by the receptionist when checking in,
I received the parking charge through the post 14 days later demanding £100 or £60 if I payed straight away,
i spoke to to the general manager who said I had to appeal to poppla to have the ticket overturned as the matter was out of his control, but he did provide me with an email stating I was entitled to use the car park as I was staying o n the site,
My appeal has just returned and has been refused stating I failed to adher to the terms and conditions for the car park,
What are my option now? Should I pay or ignore the fine and await court action even though the land owner stated I was entitled to park,
Thanks in advance
Gavin
