  • Premier Park, can I appeal this?

Hiya, I have just received a Parking Charge Notice from Premier Park LTD as I stayed in one of their car parks for a longer time than I paid for. The situation is that I went to put 4hrs on the parking and paid £4, went into the pub that they operate in, came out to pay for my meal where they deduct the parking bill and realised that I'd only paid for £2hrs parking, as I'm assuming that one of my £2 coins wasn't accepted by the machine and got spat back out without me seeing.

I just assumed the whole £4 went through in the machine. I didn't notice and didn't check my ticket to see what I'd actually paid for in the end. I accept this is entirely my fault for not observing this properly so just wondered based on this, is it actually worth me appealing? I understand that Premier Park will reject regardless and I can take it further with POPLA, but will I even win that appeal as it was my fault, without intention.

Just want to check if I'm wasting my time and I should just pay the £60, or should I give it ago at appealing?

Also I'm unable to attached my image of the letter but I'll try again later.

    Thanks in advance

First of all edit your post so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred e.g. "as the driver stayed ..... for a longer time than the driver paid for"

Can you also post up a picture of the signage at the car park?

If the car park is owned by the pub, have you asked their manager to have the charge cancelled.?
