Hi There
I was wondering if someone can help me.
Myself and my partner parked on a unmarked road at 9am on Sunday morning. On that stretch of road the only visable offical sign was a no stopping sign for lorries and buses "midnight - 8am 6.30pm to midnight".
On returning to car 90 minutes later we had recieved a ticket stating "Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours".
On our return someone had placed cones along the side of the pavement, with a no waiting sign stuck to it. There were no cones on this particular stretch of road at the time of parking. In the photo taken, the cone is so close to the passenger door that it was clearly placed after we had parked, otherwise I would not have been able to get exit the passenger door without knocking the cone over. When "logging in" to the PCN, they had attached a photo showing a worded letter attached to a sign post (which i did not see, but coincidently has the date listed as Monday 17th July, which is incorrect - i'm assuming they meant to put Saturday 17th) saying that you can't park there.
Obviously I feel its unfair that I got the ticket, but regardless of this, what legal grounds, if any, do I have to say that they shouldn't have given me a ticket?

(I tried to attach these, but it wouldn't work for some reason so used dropbox links instead)
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me
