Letter Before County Court Claim

Hi, i received a parking charge notice from ParkingEye LTD in March 2020. this was because i parked in a car park at a hotel and inputted the wrong VRM into their check in desk, due to human error as it was a company car.

They have sent all parking notices to the company i work for and i've appealed to popla and been unsuccesful. They have sent a final letter saying 'Letter before county court claim' and i've just thought, they have none of my personal details or address as they have sent everything via the company.

Before i reply, is there any other options i have? as they have no personal details, they cannot trace me, unless the company give them my details, which is surely against GDPR?

The company will then get a court claim and as PE normally comply with POFA they can be held liable for your actions.

Is this car owned by the company or leased? If you had owned up at the time it would have been £20.

Its a leased vehicle that the company get via LexAutolease. i was only driving it for one day

I appealed the initial ticket and told them i had entered the VRM incorrectly and had a witness and also happy for them to check the CCTV, but they did not accept this. I'm assuming i still cant use this and try and get the £20 fine?

Shame you didn't come here earlier, might have been able to kill it completely. Did you actually identify yourself as the driver?

Don't know what your company will do about a court claim. They have until the issue of the claim to name the keeper, you.
