  • Debt Recuvery Plus Ltd

    Hi,

i wonder if if you can advise me, my son received a parking ticket for parking in a shopping centre where he works. He only received a ticket because he had uniform on. He usually parks in a staff designated spot but he had stock from another store he was dropping off and needed to park nearer the shop. His total stay was around 2 1/2 hours.

A number of of staff have had fines and ignored them and haven't heard anything more and so this is the approach he took. However, he received a letter from DRP demanding £120.

So, my question is, should he continue to ignore their demands ( he has until 9 August) to pay, or should he pay up?

ive read lots of different advice which is confusing. If it makes any difference we live in England.

Thanks in in advance for any advice.

Debt collectors, i'd be ignoring. What are they going to do about it ? Send another scary letter, probably.

They can't do court because they don't own the cause of action.
