DRP DEMAND FOR PAYMENT (parking)

Going to be totally honest here.... Parked in a private carpark, realised I didn't have the money to buy a ticket, had a look and it was private so figured if I was quick and got back I'd hopefully not get a ticket.....did my thing, relieved to not have a ticket but today have received a letter from DRP (Debt Recovery Plus) asking for £149.99.

Any advise or do I have to pay? I think it's scandalous

File and ignore any debt collectors guff. Only do something if you get a proper letter before action or court papers.
