  • American driver

Just a general question or 2

Regards driver on PCN letter to keeper
If the person lived abroad (America say) what would happen ?

If the car was driven in to the car park by one person and driven out by someone else who is liable?

If the person driving has died in the meantime who is liable?

If you are instructed and directed by a parking attendant (Representing the owner) from private a road way, not covered by parking restrictions, to a car park area that is covered by signs and instructs that you stay there whilst traffic is organised
i.e. ordered to enter the parking area. and you get a PCN

They can chase them but might cry about it.

Driver but the liability can transfer to the keeper if PoFA requirements are met.

If the person driving has died in the meantime who is liable?
    Their estate.

Only a policeman can force you anywhere. However if the road and carpark are the same people then they'd have difficulty enforcing the charge i the court believes you are telling the truth.

Airports are usually under byelaws so usually yes. I thought you were on about private land.
