  • Parking Charge Notice

    Hi
Came home tonight to a Parking Charge Notice from Civil Enforcement Limited. I was approximately 15 minutes over "the maximum 4 hours free parking - no return within 2 hour".
Amount due is £100 within 28 days or £60 is paid within 14 days.

Can you advise what I should do about this, as I know of other people who have had this and ignored this?

In "England and Wales to make an appeal to us which we reject, we will send you the contact details for Parking on Private Land Appeals (POPLA)". As I live in Scotland how would this affect me?

    Many thanks

    Re: Parking Charge Notice

In Scotland it is best to keep everything, including photos of signage, in a safe place and ignore anything bar a court claim. If you don't tell them who was driving they are unlikely to ever know.

Many thanks for your help and advice. I have now heard of a few people with these notices and they have all ignored them. So far so good x
