I have only just noticed a Parking Charge Notice attached to my windscreen, as it was very crumpled up and pushed down out of sight. It was a fine of £90 for 'exceeding marked bay area'. I had not gone over the time I had paid for. Because the ticket wasn't visible when I returned to the car, I simply got in and drove off and didn't check whether my car was over the line. I was parked straight, next to the next car etc., so I can't believe I can have been much over the line, but can't now prove it! I would have taken a photo if I'd known.
I've looked on other threads and seen advice to ignore it, which I'm tempted to do. I'd be glad of anyone's advice; thanks in advance!
