I receive a parking notice through the post from Athena. It stated I had incurred the charge from parking for 2 hours 21 minutes and apparently they only allow 1 and a half hours. I was displaying my disabled badge for the duration of the stay which I believed allowed me 3 hours parking.
I sent the original letter back no contract no contact. Today I received another letter and the "fine" has doubled to £90.
Should I send this letter back no contact no contract, ignore it or just pay up?
I can't really afford to end up in court as I'm a foster mum and am sure it will be frowned upon by council. I'm so annoyed. I did my shopping in Lidl after I had been to bank and paid some bills. I parked there so I didn't have to faff around moving car coz of roadworks. All help appreciated thankyou.
