  • Parking Eye :-(

Heya! I'm new to this site, and I notice lots of people here with very similar issues!

I have recently been issued a fine from ParkingEye in the Liverpool Adelphi car park. The letter states I was parked for 3 hrs 2 minutes, but I definitely purchased a ticket for 4 hours. I'm trying to figure out what went wrong here. I spent half an hour in the rain rooting through the wheelie bin in search of my pay-and-display ticket, but of course crappy bits of paper usually disappear.

They state only my arrival and departure, no mention of any payment at all. So does this mean I'm a total muppet and put my reg in wrong? And should that amount to £100, with a generous discount to only £60?

I'm considering just ignoring their stupid letters until they attempt to take me to court.

Much appreciation in advance for any help/advice xx

    Re: Parking Eye :-(

    Do not ignore.

Appeal which they'll probably reject and then appeal to pola and win.

    Dear sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver paid for 4 hours of time. In any event your charges are penal and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.

I am under no statutory obligation to name the driver and will not do so.

PLease accept my appeal or supply a popla code.

    Yours etc

Should the reject your appeal then edit this popla appeal to suit http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...-Appeal-Letter

Does it work ? Yes http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...pany-victories

Great! Thank you very much. I was going to do it online but they ask for lots of information that I don't feel inclined to provide.

Letter going in the post asap :-)

UPDATE - I found my pay and display ticket. I had indeed pressed Ns instead of Ms when entering my reg details. Oops. Should I still send the template along with a photocopy of the ticket?

        Thanks
