    Hi All

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place.

I've received a Parking Charge Notice from Civil Enforcement Ltd dated 17/04/2014 for an incident which took place on 13/04/2014. Normally I would just pay up but in this case I am reluctant for two reasons.

1/ The incident took place in a Co-op car park at Stratford Road in Nottingham but the notice gives the address as 52 Bridgford Road which is the address of the shop not the car park

2/ The incident is described as over staying the 2 hours maximum free parking but this was a Sunday night from 19.18 to 22.41, the Co-op closes at 4pm so they have no loss or damage.

I've called the shop and asked the Manager to call me to have the notice cancelled but in case I have no luck can anyone advise what my next step should be?

    Should I just pay up?

    Many thanks in advance.

Sory to point to a different forum but search for coop and CEL in pepipoo.com There are many entries on the subject. It would appear that if you complain to the coop then coop are paying the "fines".

        The coop are paying.

However i would prefer the standard way of dealing with new tickets which is appeal to CEL which you'll lose then appeal to popla and win. See http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...106#post417106 for example. You can always use the co-op as a back up in the unlikely event plan a fails (hasn't so far). This has the added incentive of costing CEL £27.

          Hi

I have received a response to my appeal to CEL and needless to say they have rejected my appeal and provided me with a Popla code. What is my next step?

          Thanks in advance

Write to popla with an appeal.

http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...-Appeal-Letter is a template which need edited to suit. A Cel winner used http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...591#post411591 for example

http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...090#post410090 An appeal for Cel that i adapted from the template and the result http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...586#post420586
