My daughter has received a final demand for £80 for a PCN today. It's the first correspondance we've received with regards to the matter, as she's living away at uni and I open all her post. She entered the car park at 13:37 left at 17:03 and paid for 4hours on the NCP parking app. We couldn't understand why it'd been issued, as she'd got the receipt etc and was in the time limit. I've queried it with them saying I'm disgusted no other correspondance before final reminder.
It's really bugging me but I've checked the car park on the map I've realised she's a numpty and paid for the car park next door (10m away) She had a valid ticket was within the time limit. This was after my initial complaint to them, so they don't know the reason why.
Does anyone have any advice please? It's her own fault, but an appears it's easy error to make make the machine isn't working. I'm annoyed that if they don't cancel the ticket we didn't have the opportunity to pay the discounted offer.
