  • PCN from APCOA for driving through T4 drop off zone at Heathrow

    Hi
I accidentally drove through the T4 drop off zone while trying to get to the next door Hilton hotel where I had booked a park and fly package. I drive a company lease car and their admin team sent me an email advising the PCN had been issued on 9th December over seven weeks after driving through the area. A PCN was then issued on 17th January by post. I appealed on the basis I did not stop or drop off anyone and that the images confirm that it took me 2 minutes to drive through. I would have been quicker had it not been for a road sweeper blocking part of the area. They have rejected the appeal stating that there are clear signs stating a £5 charge applies for any visit to the drop off. This appears unfair and unreasonable to me as a visit to a drop off surely is for longer than 2 minutes and involves actually stopping and dropping people and/or baggage off. Is it worth appealing to POPLA and if so what is the best approach please?

    Hi
I note none responded to your question its been a year. I was interested in the answer because I happened to have been into the similar situation. However its a shame it is a useless forum, there's not much in here.

Mudi417 Why don't you start your own thread and ask for advice on your specific circumstances instead of using someone else's 15 month old thread to be rude about a forum you only joined today?
