  • x2 ANPR parking charges ( highview and civil enforcement)

Firstly thank you all in advance, i have looked through this forums responses and they seem very helpful and straight forward.

A registered keeper of a car and has just received a a parking fine through the post for 'exceeding maximum stay' and the letter says that maxium stay is 'prominently displayed at the site'. The letter also has the line about them getting details from DVLA to astatine the registered keeper. Reading the threads -most people seem to be challenging fines with a line about section 4 / keeper liability. However from memory i dont think this car park has very clear signage. The letter has only arrived to today which is 3 weeks after the alleged parking issue, and date of issue is 10 days after the day of the parking. What would be the best grounds to challenge this.

Also by very unhappy coincidence another household member who is keeper for a different car has also received a PCH for overstay at a different car park. this letter is from civil enforcement and does not have any line about them contacting DVLA to get details ?

what would be the best way of challenging both of them. I have read the MSE forum but have got very confused

Suggest you create a seperate thread for each event even move to the pepipoo private parking forum. For each post a redacted of the PCN but leave dates.

That 10 days after event and not received for 3 weeks really does cast doubt about the truthfulness of the PCNs.

Thanks - also confused about the advise on other posts to wait until after 28 days to reply / challenge ?

Delaying when you have a Notice to Keeper gains nothing, delaying is only an advantage if it is a windscreen ticket.

Both tickets have POFA failures, at least on the front. The required statements might be on the reverse.

As said start a thread for each case otherwise it gets confusing
