  • Parking Tickets: READ THIS BEFORE POSTING!!

When you start a thread for advice on a parking ticket, for the best chance of appealing the charge do NOT reveal who could have been driving at the time.
No "I, me, the wife. my son" as the parking companies have been known to look at forums and then take action against the admitted driver.

The DRIVER was driving and parked and the KEEPER received a notice from the parking company.

If the parking companies do not know the driver s identity, then they have to comply with the requirements of Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 to be able to transfer liability to the keeper. They frequently do make mistakes that assist the keeper avoid the charge.

If you post up the notice to keeper that was received, REDACT identifying details such as name, address. VRM and Notice number but leave dates. Photos of the signs will also be helpful.

Thank you, by abiding by these simple rules you will save a lot of wasted volunteer time and give yourselves a better chance of success.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Just wondered if anyone can help? I received a Parking Charge Notice in the post from Premier Park Ltd re: a car park in Cornwall when I was on holiday. It has photo evidence of me arriving and exiting which are correct. I had to wait for a parking place but as soon as I parked I bought a ticket. The PCN states “ The WHOLE period of parking not paid for”. I have contested the PCN via their website and included evidence of the ticket I had bought, which luckily I had kept. As I had to wait for a parking place it is showing 15min. more than the two hours I paid for. Can they still send me a revised PCN for that 15min. period or am I correct in thinking they have to issue a PCN and for it to be delivered within 14 days of the ‘offence’ which is well over the 14 days. In fact this PCN was delivered 19 days after the ‘offence’ anyway.

Hi Greenfinch - could you please start your own thread in the parking forum.
