Hi,
My wife drove down a bus lane in February of this year in Preston.
We had recently moved house and I had stupidly only informed the dvla and not updated the vehicle registration, meaning the pcn was sent to the old house.
When we received the paperwork I paid the £90 fine and updated the vehicle registration details.
However, I have just received a notice of enforcement from a recovery agency for £98 & £75 compliance stage fee. This too was sent to my old address in June.
On further inspection it seems this is a separate PCN but for the same incident with the 1st one occurring at 16.28 and the second at 16.29.
Is is reasonable to be charged for the same offence a minute apart? As one of the cases has been closed I can't see the video footage to compare them exactly.
Also, they're still sending the paperwork to my old address meaning we haven't had a chance to appeal or at least discuss it before it was sent to an enforcement agency.
Does anyone think there is anything we can do?
Also, why would the warrant be issued by Northampton County Court?
Thanks in advance.
