  • Debt Collector wanting payment for 52M contravention 3 years ago

    Hi all,

    Really hope somebody can help.

I have received a letter from Newlyn Debt Collectors on behalf of City of London for an alleged "52M - No Motor Vehicles Except Buses And Bicycles" on 30/04/2018

This is the first communication I am receiving on the matter.

The vehicle VRM listed is no long registered to me and I have no lived at the 2018 address for almost two years.

They have provided no evidence of the alleged contravention.

I phoned Newlyn who said they have no further details than what is on the letter.

I'd be really grateful for any guidance.
