So, we went to catch the ferry at Hull for a weekend in Amsterdam.*
Along with 4 other friends that witnessed us purchase a ticket for the car park to be displayed on the dashboard of the car. As we were getting our luggage out of the boot of the car the ticket that was displayed on the dash blew into the footwell without us knowing. Upon our return we found a penalty notice attached to the drivers side window asking us to pay £100 penalty, we contacted Premier parking solutions and sent a picture of the ticket we purchased to them and they replied saying that although we purchased a ticket, because it wasn't displayed we had to pay, although they lowered the fine to £50, thanks for that, do we have to pay as with said witnesses and the fact we actually had proof of purchase, they still want to make us pay the fine?*
