  • PCN letter, missed first letter

    Hi all,

Not new to site but haven't visited in a while and old email adress doesn't exist anymore so registered again.

A PCN letter was received around the 14/1/20 for an alleged contraventon on 10/1/20, from a firm called 'excel parking'. The alleged driver works away from home and was not told about the letter until very recently, will they still be able to pay the reduced fee if they accept the allegation?

Secondly, If the driver went to get change and by the time they returned, the chargeable period had ended, is the PCN enforceable? This was about 20 minutes. The firm have have sent a letter with photos showing the vehicle parked.

Not encountered a PCN before, any advice greatly appreciated.

CEL will threaten to take it to court.

Post up the PCN, suitably redacted

            Hi all,

Any advice on how to proceed with this? I'd prefer to pay the reduced amount but asn't told about the letter. Thinking i'll have to stump up for the £100 before this gets out of hand. Any thoughts?
