Hi All,
I am really hoping that you can help.
I went through a divorce in June 2018 and had to leave my marital home and am still going through a divorce. I was told back in October 2018 that my ex had sent off the paper work for my log book to be updated to my new address. It transpires that she actually had not. (I appreciate at this point, I should have been more vigilant here) Following this I had a redirected piece of mail ( 2 weeks ago) that had a final notice for a parking offence committed in July 2019 on a letter dated September 2019. It has been noted that it has been passed to a debt collection agency to pursue.
The issue with this is that;
A - Premier parks customer services are fully automated and therefore I have no way of speaking to someone there since I need to enter a PCN number to get through, due to the time elapsing they no longer have this record on their system.
B - I have emailed them only to get a bounce back to say that they will not honour any appeals via email and I need to write to them.
C - I have checked Experian and there are no outstanding judgements but I simply do not know how I can follow up on this for resolution.
D - I have since updated my log book and address so now my records are correct.
this is frustrating since I am not contesting it. I just need to know who now has this and so my questions are:
1. If anyone in the SE has been given a debt collection order notice on the back of an unpaid PCN from Premier Parking, please can you let me know which debt agency this is?
2. Is there anyway that I can check with the courts to see if they have recieved anything, if so, any pointers on which courts I begin to pursue.
I am looking to buy a new property and so obviously cannot have a CCJ against me. This is incredibly frustrating and worrying. Please can someone help?
