  • Met Parking Abuse of electric bay notice

Hello, I have just joined this forum and read a few interesting threads already which has enlightened me.

This evening while visiting Asda, I received a PCN from Met parking for abuse of the electric bay. While it is true that I was not charging my vehicle, I am unsure whether there are any grounds of appeal. Please could someone kindly advise me on what, if any, grounds there is to appeal?

    many thanks

So what was the "offence"? What do the signs say?

Good question, i will take a closer look tomorrow and report back. I guess the offence is that I was not charging my vehicle if that is such an "offence" ?

The thing is on the ticket, it says "Electric Bay Abuse" whatever that means...

I have also just noticed that the symbol painted on the ground is different to that displayed on the sign...is that grounds for appealing?

But even if I did and was not plugged in then that is still a breach?
