Hello.
On 24th September, a London Parking Solutions warden ticketed my car in my private residential car park as my permit was only half displayed.
The first I knew of this was a letter dated 24/10/2018, indicating I had not appealed or paid, and so the amount I would have to pay had increased to £118. There was no evidence in this letter of a ticket on my car, or the alleged issue with my permit.
I never saw a PCN on or around my car.
I appealed, and that was rejected, again no evidence issued. I emailed back and demanded to see evidence. They have since indicated this is all stored online and sent it to me.
Had I seen the PCN on my car and the evidence in the photos on 24th September, I would have likely paid immediately to save myself this hassle and stress. But there was simply no ticket on my car. Unfortunately however I have no evidence of this.
But I know there is video evidence online of companies like this removing tickets after photos are take - ghost ticketing to double the PCN.
What are my next steps? Do I appeal to IAS, even though they are heavily biased to PPC? I have since said I refuse to pay £118 as there was no ticket on my car and I am worried it is likely a scam.
Do I ignore from now on and risk going to court?
Any help gratefully received. This is a big chunk of money just before Christmas.
Thanks so much.
