  • Parking Charge Notice - ( Please help) Metrolink Car Park, Navigation Road

On 23/10/18 a vehicle was parked in a Metrolink car park, free to Metrolink users. On return that day, following use of the Metrolink with a valid ticket a Parking Charge Notice
was found positioned on the windscreen. The reason given for the notice was Reason 19, ‘ parking in a No Parking area’. This vehicle is parked regularly in this car park,
in different bays, always following the process of purchasing and using a valid ticket for travel.

The bay that was used for parking is situated in between 2 disabled bays and 2 drop off bays. There is no marking or indication that the bay is restricted in any way or indeed
a ‘no parking area’. There is no colour or marking difference between this bay and the other parking bays in the car park. The only discernible difference to other parking bays
in the car park is perhaps a width difference of approx one foot. The vehicle was parked within and did not exceed the time restrictions of the car park. The bay in question appears
to be regularly used by many other vehicles.

Can you please advise how to proceed with this. It seems totally obvious that this is a ridiculous notice that has been incorrectly issued but the concern is wording the appeal
    wrongly and it being rejected.

This PCN has now had a NTK issued. Could anyone please advise how the keeper proceeds and timescales as they have now been issued with a NTK. Further photos have been taken of the car park and all other bays that are not to be used have writing (I.e. disabled parking, private no parking ) and / or chevron markings, making the status clear except for the bay in question. Following visits to the car park there are cars parked in this bay daily with tickets placed on them. It could even be assumed the parking company are ignoring addressing this issue as some patrons may be paying their PCN out of ignorance or fear - any advice?
