      Extract:

You issued me with a parking ticket on 23rd February but I believe it was unfairly issued. I decline your invitation to name the driver, which is not required of me as the keeper of the vehicle. I will not be paying your demand for payment for the following reasons:

There are mitigating circumstances to explain why the vehicle was parked where it was and the charge should be waived for this reason. The car was parked in a space which my brother, XXXX XXXX owns as his designated space as he owns the property. He has confirmed that he does not wish for you to place any parking charge notices/invoices on vehicles parked in this space that are known to him, colleagues, friends, family etc.

The amount you have charged is not based upon any commercially justifiable loss to your company or the landowner.

BROTHER can provide you with the his formal lease documents which confirm that he is responsible for the space in question, and will happily confirm that this car would have been parked there with no objection from him.

You may contact him via post at –

      XXXXX, XXXX
