Earl Haig - Parking fine ( Smark parking Ltd)

Hello Friends,

I got a PCN from smart parking at Earl Haig Hounslow for parking duration of around 14 + minutes. I was actually waiting for my friend to join who entered 3 minutes after me and we were there for sometime before deciding to move out of the car park. Genuinely parking signs were not visible and the area was very dark too.

Both self and my friend appealed to Smart parking with the language mentioned in the previous threads by [MENTION=5354]mystery1[/MENTION] in this forum. I have received a rejection whereas my friend's appeal has been accepted. Do you think that's because he stayed for 11+ minutes compared to my stay of 14+ minutes?

I have got 2 more days to pay discounted rate of £60 or else appeal in Popla. Need your suggestions on what should be done and chances of winning it in Popla.

So edit the post so that the driver cannot be inferred. Post up the PCN so that people can see it. Post up you appeal. Redact identifying details.

Hi Ostell and all,

Wanted to inform that my appeal has been successful with Popla. I used the information available on this forum to file the appeal so would like to thank everyone for their contribution including [MENTION=5354]mystery1[/MENTION] as I used the documents shared by him in other threads of Earl Haig which were similar to my case.

Would strongly suggest others having similar situation to follow these threads!
