  • Unpaid PCNS and car is registered to a Ltd Company

    Good morning

I was advised that if there are any outstanding pcns on a car, if its then registered in a LTD company name, no bayleaves or enforcement agents can clamp or remove it

    Can someone confirm this please

    Thanks

It needs a bill of sale would be needed unlikely a bailiff would accept an invoice from the debtor to a company maid out after the PCN was issued they are not that stupid

When you buy a car privately you dont get a bill of sale do you, do you mean receipt?

not an expert but if purchased before it does not belong to debtor but to the LTD company,
If after they may be correct if they clamp or seize it.
Others on here should be able to offer advice

The crucial point is who owned the vehicle on or before the date of the PCN. Subsequent ownership is irrelevant

True question is has a PCN been issued or is this a Bailiff involved in collecting a debt who wants to clamp size the car?
is this a private company PCN or a Council PCN
