Hi all
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.
I'm wondering if anyone could offer some advice re a pcn received from civil enforcement ltd.
I recently started a new job at a north west hospital and thus parked in the staff car park, not having obtained a staff permit as yet. (A daily voucher for parking costs less than £2).
I noticed a parking fine attached to my windscreen on return to the car, stating a £35 fine for not displaying a permit. I initially ignored it as several other staff members had said they had received the same. A month later a letter has come through with the fine increased to £70 and the usual details of how to pay or appeal etc within 28 days.
Any advice on what I should put in my appeal letter to get a satisfactory outcome? I have now obtained a permit but obv not too keen on paying £70!
Many thanks
