summons re: uninsured vehicle

Hi, I have just recieved a letter asking me to attend court as on the 2/5/2013 my car was uninsured however my poor car was dismantled by a registered company in december 2012. I have spoken to dismantlers and the confirmed all paperwork was completed and they will send me copies. However im very worried about this and really dont know what to do. Obviously the car was not on road or being driven as there was nothing left of it.
Any advice would be very welcome. Kind regards

Attend court and show the court the documentation.
