  • speeding offence going to trial

I thought I was in a 40 when it was a 30 - signs displaying 30 had been damaged in an accident of some description - and were missing - I had to go walking long the stretch of road still baffled and found one that later was propped up. A year later there are 2 new shiny signs clearly displaying the speed change from 40 to 30
Yes I could've pleaded guilty at the magistrate hearing but that would've been dishonest - and now it is going to trial -

So what do you want to know?

Among things the court may like to hear are:
    • What was the limit prior to the 30 stretch?
    • How far beyond the missing signs were you when caught?
    • Did the road have a system of street lighting?
