I recently had a new engine fitted to my car by a main BMW dealership but when I picked it up earlier this month it had a number of issues. The engine was provided by BMW as a goodwill offer but I was required to pay a labour charge to fit the engine of just under 7k.
I was told the car had passed quality control checks and test driven five times but they missed a number of problems, some serious and some less so. The car has also developed another fault with the sos calling system which was not present before I took it to them.
I paid for the repair costs using my credit card so my question is can I chargeback any of the payment back from BMW due to negligence?
