I'm not sure if I'm on the correct part of the forum so admin could you please move if I have this in the wrong area.
Back in late August my car broke down so I had it recovered home. I then set about calling a number of local garages who, basically, didn't want to touch it and advised me to go to the main dealer or an independent specialist.
After a bit of searching I came across "JLR Specialist" who quotes himself ae " A specialist in diagnostics, electrical and mechanical repairs of all Jaguar Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles up to 2018." After chatting on the phone to me he assured me that he knew what it was and could repair it. Fast forward to the beginning of December and nearly £1000.00 later he pushed my car out of his garage abandoning it, without repair, onto the street where it stood for two weeks before a work colleague spotted it. He's now closed up shop and presumably moved elsewhere under a different name.
One thing this "prolific liar" told me when discussing the time it was taking was that he still worked for Jaguar Land Rover at Halewood. I've managed to establish that this is in fact true, so my question is how can I get his address to send letters of action to. Is there any way that I can get his employers to force him into contacting me to surrender his details by accusing him of bringing their business into disrepute or is there another way of getting his details and bringing him to book?
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
