Hi All,
New to the board. I VT'd my BMW and have just received the excess mileage charge. A shopping £3,163.34.
I got the car when I lived near work but got transferred early on. The garage advised me to VT the car to get a new one ( rather than trade in). So I knew I had gone over. 61,111 miles on the clock with 24,667 allowance. I have read some articles on here but I guess I was wondering do anyone have any advice. To get it reduced. I expected to have to pay something - but its a bit of a whopper.. Anyone made a case to get theirs reduced?
