I was issued with a fine for speeding which I accepted and paid. I sent my licence back for the points (in June) yesterday I noticed that the fine has been put back into my bank account. I contacted the fixed penalty office and they advised me that My licence hadn’t been received. I hadn’t chased it previously because everything is taking so much longer currently and when I looked online it said it can take up to 12 weeks to get my licence back.
The issue has now gone to court and I have to await a summons. I’m absolutely terrified I have never experienced anything like this. I didn’t send my licence back by recorded delivery because it never occurred to me. Please can can anyone offer any advice?
